The Canyon Collective brings together existing canyon “Friends” groups and community members interested in starting or joining one. Representatives from active canyon groups meet on the fourth Thursday of each month to coordinate efforts, share resources, and advance the restoration, stewardship, and long-term care of our urban canyons while strengthening native habitat and wildlife corridors.

Current participants include Friends groups from 28th Street, 32nd Street, Ivy, and Switzer Canyons, and we welcome additional canyon communities to join us.

This meeting is open to anyone who cares about our canyons and wants to help protect, restore, and enhance their biodiversity, resilience, and value to the community.
