It’s time to reconvene and discuss our plans for the canyon in 2026. Proposed topics include:

• Reviewing the land transfer budget and developing a clear game plan for fundraising

• Beginning a shared vision for what we want this land to become. Jesh is drafting a rehabilitation plan, and there are key decisions for the group to consider

• Discussing fire resiliency support for home owners around the canyon including  individual brush-management and  “home hardening” efforts in partnership with the Fire Council

• An update on canyon restoration efforts beyond the 28th Street parcels
  (This broader rehabilitation and long-term maintenance strategy will be the focus of a separate meeting on the first Saturday of February—details to follow in a separate email.)
